Example: Terms and Conditions

What to Include in a Lawn Care Estimate

Property size and condition
Identify the service address, lawn size, access, slopes, gates, obstacles and current condition when they affect time or equipment.
Routine visit services
List the work included on a normal visit, such as mowing, edging, trimming, blowing and light cleanup.

Pricing basis and terms

Work Out the Regular Visit Price
Base the visit price on the property size, service level and time needed, including travel and equipment. A lawn with tight gates or steep slopes may take longer than an equally sized open lawn.
For a seasonal estimate, multiply that rate by the expected number of visits. Keep cleanups, fertilization and other occasional services separate so the customer can see what the season includes.
Explain Weather Delays and Skipped Visits
A rescheduled visit and a canceled visit can affect the estimate differently. Explain how you handle each and whether a customer-requested skip changes the visit count or price.
For a monthly plan, say what the monthly price covers rather than leaving the customer to divide the seasonal total. Update the estimate if a changed schedule also changes the work or likely price.
