Fill in the estimate before you print, so the customer receives a finished copy. Use the steps below to check the details, then review the downloaded PDF in your print preview.

1. Your Business: Enter your business name and contact details.
2. Your Logo: Add your logo if you use one on your business documents.
3. The Customer: Add the customer and identify the job or service address.
4. Number and Dates: Check the estimate number, issue date and response deadline.
5. Work and Prices: List the expected work with quantities and unit prices.
6. The Likely Total: Review the line amounts, any taxes or discounts, and estimated total.

Keep the Printed Copy Easy to Read

Use enough space for the customer to read the work and price comfortably. A second page is better than tiny text, especially when a long description or important assumption explains the total.

Keep related details together and remove unused rows before saving the PDF. Check that your contact information, logo and terms remain clear in the finished copy.

Check the PDF Before You Print

After You Hand Over the Printed Estimate
