How to Create a Gutter Estimate
Use your site measurements to fill in the estimate. The steps below show where the business details, gutter work and terms belong.

How to Fill In Gutter Estimate Line Items
A per-foot rate is useful only when the homeowner knows what it includes. Name the gutter material and profile, and say whether the rate covers installation. Price downspouts and removal separately when they have their own charges.
This fictional replacement includes 180 linear feet of aluminum gutter, six downspout assemblies and an $850 allowance for fascia repairs. The gutter material price includes the planned corners and hangers; each downspout assembly includes its elbows and outlet. Installation is charged once, on its own line.
The example uses US dollars and an illustrative 8% tax on all five lines. Use your own measurements, supplier prices and labor rates, with the tax treatment that applies to your job.

What to Include in Gutter Estimate Terms
Use Terms and Conditions to explain the assumptions behind the price, how long the estimate is valid and how you will agree on changes. An allowance is an estimated amount for work you cannot yet confirm; it is part of this estimate, not an extra amount to add again.
